5 CRM Techniques That Will Streamline Your Workflow

By Cristopher Burge

CRM has evolved quite a lot in the past few years and it has started to include a multitude of other aspects such as tech support, marketing, sales leads and so on. However, the best option you can have right now is to not wait until the customer is past due to start the collection tactics, you have to act fast in order to have a preventive strategy.

This type of strategy will be very easy to implement, but before you do that you have to work hard and figure out what techniques will help you achieve your goals. With that in mind, here are five CRM strategies that you could use.

1. Find Reliable Cloud Storage

One of the most important things about CRM is the fact that you do need a good storage solution to handle and store all of your data. Doing that is not easy and that’s why finding the right company to work with is essential. All you need is to browse the site and see what cloud providers offer CRM storage so you can get a great insight into your options and find the right one for your business.

2. Ask the Right Data Points

You never want to bore the clients nor do you want to seem unprofessional. That’s why you have to ask for only a few data points, indicators and fields. This will show that you are a professional business that knows how to handle these requests, plus it will help streamline the entire workflow and that can lead to incredible results in the future.

3. Automate Everything

Automating customer processes is not only important for your workflow, it will also save time. Be it the logging data or any user information, all these things are very important to track and automating such processes does come in handy. All you have to do is to find a reliable way to do that within your CRM solution. Depending on the app this might be challenging but you have to do it, as it will save you both time and money.

Plus, automation is the way to go nowadays. Gone are the days in which you had to do everything manually! Each CRM solution features automation options so all you have to do is to put them in motion. However, tracking their performance is very important, especially at first.

4. Offer the Best Compensation

If you want to boost the performance of your CRM, you need to have a customer-friendly approach. You need to show your customers that you care about them. This means that you should think twice about what features you want from your CRM solution as it has to be consumer friendly. Focus on quality and a good customer experience, make sure that the CRM tool you use will compensate the consumer experience. Work hard to train your employees this way and the results will pay off for sure.

5. Test Multiple CRM Solutions

Without the proper CRM solution your business will fail to capture consumer attention and you will also lose money. That’s why you have to figure out what CRM tools you have to use. There are many good solutions on the market, but some of them offer much better performance when compared to others!

If you want to use the best CRM solutions on the market, some recommendations would include:

  • SalesForce
  • Pipedrive
  • InfusionSoft
  • TeamSupport
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Act-On
  • Marketo
  • Freshdesk
  • Prophet CRM
  • Spiceworks

All of these are great CRM solutions that you can use within your business and they will help you grow your company. You have to study the features of each other and figure out which one has the best approach for your industry and business specifics.

If you want to obtain a good experience with your CRM system, we recommend you to use all the techniques listed above. Automate processes, use the best CRM option and maintain a good focus on the business specifics. Do that and the outcome will be extraordinary in the end!

  1. These are some great tips, Christopher!
Automating your workflow with a CRM system is a must.
Would also suggest using a CRM system that integrates well with other services that your business uses. For example, another CRM system worth checking is NetHunt CRM that integrates with Google Apps and turns Gmails into a complete CRM system. Because of using a familiar service (here Gmail), it has a lower entry barrier compared to other systems mentioned.

  2. Some great points mentioned here. You should look for a tool that provides seamless software integration, allowing for more efficiency, transparency, and informed decisions.
