Bonfire Buzz: Entrepreneurial Lessons from Steve Jobs

steve jobsYou have undoubtedly heard by now that Steve Jobs has resigned as CEO of Apple (he will continue as Chairman of the Board).

As articles pop up all over citing the powerful legacy Jobs leaves behind, I started to pull together some of the best articles I’ve read so far on what Jobs and Apple have taught us as entrepreneurs.

Renee Oricchio on Inc.com compiles quotes from Jobs over the years that apply to entrepreneurs. An example? “But it’s a disservice to constantly put things in this radical new light — that it’s going to change everything. Things don’t have to change the world to be important.”

To say I love this post by Vic Gundotra, senior vice president of engineering at Google, would be a gross understatement. This shows what it means to be an entrepreneur, a business owner, a leader, a nit-picking perfectionist who wants the best and nothing less. If you only read one Steve Jobs-related post, this is the one to read.
